| Hi. I installed a new bot and want to takeover the channel configuration from an old bot for the new installed one. But... When i try to copy it, its all overwritten. Is there any way to use the old channle conf?! Thx |

before starting the new bot copy the my.chan file and be sure that the bnew bot sees that my.chan file is the one he should use. after that start the bot and it should work.  |

your bot has these 2 lines :
set chanfile "eggdrop.chan"
set userfile "eggdrop.user"
usually they are found in nick-bot.conf if you have an egg with a&a . if it's a simple eggdrop you find them in eggdrop.conf
form them he reads the channels which he has to join and which users have access to him. you just replace eggdrop.conf with my.conf or what name it has.
