For some reason, I can't get my console to load the megahal module.
I then get this when I try to .chanset:
Error trying to set +megahal on #channel, invalid mode.
Could there be a specific reason why it won't load the megahal module?
Thanks again!
Woops, think I posted this in the wrong place. Sorry :/ |

Do you get any error messages while actually loading the megahal module? _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |

That's because you don't load it this way. This is how you enable it per-channel. If your using windrop, see here. If your using a true eggdrop it is slightly easier to use latest eggdrop combined with latest megahal. _________________ speechles' eggdrop tcl archive |

Well, I am now using windrop 1.6.17 with the megahall.dll you provided in your post. Not I'm getting this error:
can't load module megahal: dlopen: win32 error 127 |

Your not using the same one I am... That is the error you get with newest megahal, and windrop 1.6.17. You need to make absolutely sure it's the same one I've posted. It does work I've used it for 4 years without ever a problem. You also need to make sure your windrop is compiled with tcl8.4 and not 8.5 as well. _________________ speechles' eggdrop tcl archive |

Well, I downloaded the exact megahl.dll that you posted and threw that into the modules folder and placed the rest of megahal (the win32 version) into the main Windrop folder.
How can I make sure windrop is compiled with tcl8.4 ?
Thanks again for your help |
