You can keep all your scripts, your config file(s), and your userfile without any real problems. Tcl/eggie should be smart enough to handle any different newline encodings.. Just remember to check any path- or address-settings to match the new system.
Regarding your binaries (eggdrop + modules), if your system exactly matches your old vps, then you would get away with copying these aswell, however, in most cases it would however be strongly recommended to recompile these on the new host (you could still use the old sources from the old system in case you've done some custom mods, just remember to start with make clean in that case). _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |
