Hello all, I have been having trouble setting my bot's ident.
Usually, my bot would join looking like this:
sushi (~sushi@sushi.teh.h4x) has joined #tokyo
for some reason, it now looks like this:
sushi (west@sushi.teh.h4x) has joined #tokyo - (the west is my shell username and is supposed to say sushi)
I've tried looking in all the config/user files and can't seem to get this set back to normal.
the 'west' is supposed to say 'sushi'
Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to contact your shell administrator(s) about this. Most IRC networks require identd validation from shell users however. _________________ Follow me on GitHub
