Flags on a botnet - Help!

Post by x0x »

2 bots, hub and leaf.

Userfile hub:
HANDLE PASS NOTES FLAGS LAST
[LEAFBOT] yes 0 bflo 19:57 (#channel)
BOT FLAGS: gs
HOSTS: *!*ident@host.name
ADDRESS:
users: 3333, bots: 3333
Userfile leaf:
HANDLE PASS NOTES FLAGS LAST
[HUBBOT] yes 0 abfl 19:06 (#channel)
BOT FLAGS: ghp
HOSTS: *!ident@anotherhost.name
ADDRESS: anotherhost.name
users: 54322, bots: 54322
[LEAFBOT] yes 0 bfl never (nowhere)
HOSTS: *!*ident@host.name
ADDRESS: 3333
users: 3333, bots: 3333
Why do they deop each other when I set a channel to +bitch on of them?
What should be the correct flags? Why the difference in the o flag on the user and leaf bot.

I don't get it anymore :(

+bitch only allows those that possess the +o flag from being an operator. You might want to read this, since it covers linking bots together extremely well → http://www.egghelp.org/enhance.htm

Yes I followed that guide but now I understand why in +bitch modes the bots deopped each other. The bots removed the +o flag and I now found that happened because of a setting in eggdrop.conf
