I found the php2eggdrop mod that posts messages from a forum to the irc channel using the eggdrop bot and would like a similar mod for smf forums.

I am using smf2.0 rc5 which is currently the latest version.

There has been requests made for this in the past but nothing appears to have come of it. I have also made a request on the smf forums. I thought maybe if someone familiar with the bot scripting could work with someone familiar with the smf forums it might be possible.
