Hi guys,
My eggdrop is sitting in a channel #example, I can telnet into the eggdrop and can send .msg <nick> or .msg #examplel.
My question is since the eggdrop is sitting in channel #example, is it possible to see people type stuff in channel #example using telnet?
I know i'm in partyline, but how do you see what's going on in channel #example? |

Hi,
That's simple enough. All you have to do, is change your console settings using the .console command. You can use ".help console" to see all the different filters that can be applied; though for monitoring public chatter, what you want is something like this:
.console #example +jkp
This will show all join, part, quit, netsplits (+j), kick, ban, mode-changes (+k), and public chatter (+p) from #example on your dcc/telnet partyline. _________________ NML_375, idling at #eggdrop@IrcNET |
