while experimenting with some scripts and getting my bot set up to do different things i had to issue the .die command and i put "having a bitch fit in the comment line"
in response my bot displayed the following
Statbot : Quit (Quit: having a <censored> moment)
it censored the word and i have no scripts setup to do that.
is there a setting in the eggdrop i missed that filters words? |

I honestly doubt that. This sounds like something server side. _________________ Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box. |

I agree with caesar.
Just experimented on one irc server that I frequent, and I could duplicate that which you describe, with channel mode settings.
On that server, channel mode +G did it.

/helpop chmodes
I suppose that varies, from network to network. |
