I've noticed there is no script around there for submitting links or text to your subreddit via a TCL script - anyone up for it?

Please be more specific as I for one I'm not using Reddit and don't understand what you want.

Reddit is a source for what's new and popular on the web.
Users can provide all of the content and decide, through voting, what's good and what's junk
Links that receive community approval bubble up towards #1, so the front page is constantly in motion and (hopefully) filled with fresh, interesting links.

Reddit is made up of hundreds of sub-communities, each focused on a specific topic. There's a reddit for science, a reddit for music, and probably a reddit for your nearest city. By default, new users are subscribed to a selection of the most popular ones, but you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of the site if you take the time to subscribe to ones that appeal to you. After doing so, the front page will change to show a customized listing tailored to your interests.

You can also create your own SubReddit.

I would like a script which i can use via IRC to submit a link or text to my Reddit.

Anyone can submit a link to any subreddit he wants, in this case the subreddit is called 'FootballChat' but you can rename it to any existing reddit and submit.

I would be happy to answer any further questions if there are any..
