Hi,
I have an irc channel with an eggdrop. With just one command, I should be able to kick/ban an user from all the channels.
Example: !kb rick You are blahhhh
!k rick you again !!!
The eggdrop should kick a user, with the given reason from all the channels, where the eggdrop is an OP. if no reason is given, a standard test should be given... Also, should be able to set the ban type... like, *!*@123.123.123.* . Also 1 report channel, to follow who has kicked who from the channel...
In short:
1) 1 command, to ban/kick from the channel...
2) able to set a reason, if no reason given, standard reason should be set...
3) Able to set, how to ban a user... the full IP, or some part of the IP, so the user can be banned for a long time.
4) report to 1 channel, who has kicked which user and for what reason.
I have tried to find such code, but nobody has it... so strange as I think should be needed for everybody  .
Can anybody help me with this.. ?

Hi,
First of all, thanks for this script. very helpfull... I tested the script, maybe I am doing something wrong, but the IP that the script banned, was that of the bot itself... and I got this message: Wanted to ban myself--deflected.
Items:
1) It sends me a message, that it was banned in that channel and also the text to the homechan, of the ban was okey ( wrong IP again of course on both items).
2) the ban was not send at all to the channel, as the bot blocked it, that it couldn't ban itself.. ( maybe that was the reason for only 1 time.. dunno )
3) also didn't kick from all channels..
3) An !unban command would be very helpful.

HUH?!! That was what you asked for.

This script uses newban system, try reading about it in TCL-commands.doc - You'll learn what it does.

umm, you never asked for an !unban command. You only asked for EXACTLY what I gave you.
I do NOT see why it would ban the bot, if you typed: !kb istok <- it should just ban my host, using the [make:banmask $uhost $target] - where $target is equal to the nickname you stated after the !kb
I never tested it, but by all rights it should work.

Hiya,
1) yes, that was what I asked for, there is no problem with that, just giving you the info that it works until that part.
2) The ban is set to the wrong IP, so it does nothing... as it give the error, that the bot can't ban itself and stops... This is what I see in the DCC: Wanted to ban myself--deflected
3) I know, for the !unban.. I just gave as extra info, to make the script complete. It's something I thought of... as someone can ban the wrong nick, to have a solution for this. If you want ofcourse...
I did !kb nick and it banned the operhost of itself.. I also don't understand why, but that's what happend.... I am just trying to give you complete info, that's all.. not as an complaint, just for your info...

Do you want to add this ban to the bot's internal ban list too? I'm thinking yes, so it can be made permanent.
Do you still have the slightly briken script Get_A_Fix poated to this string?
If so, please post it back to this string, and maybe we can just fix its' issues:)
