My eggdrop is not responding CTCP

Post by juanamores »

For several days , the bot will not answer me CTCP .
I checked with the Red , but I responded that it is not their problem.

That may have been modified so that the bot ignore CTCP ?
I have not changed anything in the configuration .....
If you do not understand my ideas is because I can not think in English, I help me with Google Translate. I only speak Spanish. Bear with me. Thanks :)

What is "the Red" ?

Does the irc network, by default, set all logins to mode +T ?

Since you have not tried it on other networks, that is something to experiment with. Try it on other networks, and see what happens.

Log into the bot via telnet. Then ping it. Can you see the ping happen, in the partyline?

They have entered intruders on my VPS , today I discovered Asian IPs connected .
Not what may have changed.
My eggdrop configuration:

Code: Select all

# Telnet ports
listen 3333 bots
listen 4444 users
The /dcc chat I never worked for problems with the company that gives me internet services .
Is there another way to get into the party line , other than CTCP or DCC ?
Which ports have closed for the CTCP not work ?

Did you even read what I wrote above?
Because you forgot to answer and address each item I said.

As for this:
