|
|
So Ive been playing around with url title grabbers for my eggdrop. the first one I used would give results like (with the " in the title)
https://twitter.com/_faizann/status/1157157933223821317
<@BarBot> Title: faiz on Twitter: "texted my number neighbor....safe to say i got a new best friend… "
So I moved onto durby, which seems to be way better, except, (so far just with twitter), it only posts like this:
https://twitter.com/_faizann/status/1157157933223821317
<@BarBot> ~ Twitter
But any other URL will post the full title.
Any help would be appreciated |

about how durby works;
durby following redirects (if it exists!) and trying to get <title> from there.
" Twitter ( https://mobile.twitter.com/_faizann/status/1157157933223821317 )( 200; text/html; utf-8; 50849 bytes; 1 redirects )( 0s ago )"
durby detects your link redirecting to mobile.twitter and fetching title from there. and it has only | Quote: | | <title>Twitter</title> | but your actual twitter link's html source has : | Quote: | | <title>faiz on Twitter: "texted my number neighbor....safe to say i got a new best friend… "</title> |
