Im trying to get my channel join script working but im getting the dreaded

[20:45] Tcl error [dw:joinchan]: extra characters after close-quote

im making the bot join a channel like #[chan] but its not having it! I've never understood regsub properly! Can someone point me in the right direction and/or do you need to look at my code to figure it out?
