My Windrop was excepting DCC Chat request from me a few days ago after I had to wipe out Windows 10 Professional, however as of Sunday, I had to replace both my router and modem. I know at one time I had a DCC Chat command to make the bot send me a DCC Chat request. I've lost the command, Does anyone know the DCC Chat command to make the bot send you the DCC Chat request? Please no comments saying it isn't possible, because I've done it before. Also according to Konversation, my IRC chat program of choice my host address has not changed. Thanks in advance. _________________ John Riley

It's not a DCC Chat command, that makes the bot initiate a chat with you.
It is:
/ctcp botnick chat
If the bot recognizes you, it will send you a request to chat.
The other two ways to get into the bot are:
/dcc chat botnick
and
telnet to the bot's ip:port

I hope this helps. _________________ For a fun (and popular) Trivia game, visit us at: irc.librairc.net #science-fiction . Over 300K Q & A to play in BogusTrivia ! |

Also rileyil77 are you sure your bot recognize's you your hostmask could have changed
if this IS the case you could telnet into your bot and add your New hostmask
using
| Code: |
.+host (nick) (hostmask)
