Since the registration agreement reverted back to the default phpBB one during the recent forum upgrade, I've created a new one which follows. The spirit of the agreement has not changed from the original.

General netiquette and common sense apply in the egghelp.org user forum. The following rules in particular are stressed:

No vulgar, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate language, because I don't like it.
No requesting help on anything involving "piracy" (of software, movies, or otherwise), because it's illegal in most places.
Have realistic expectations of any help you may receive, because those who provide support on the forum are volunteers.
If you have a problem that needs fixing, use the forum's search function first to see if the topic has already been discussed, so that volunteers don't have to waste their own time repeating the solution or doing the search for you.
No commercial posting, such as advertising or "advertorials" for shell providers.
