I have been looking for a while for a solution for the following issue:

One can have a botnet setup in many different ways, but there is always 1 master hubbot. Now when the master hub goes offline, my bots connect will connect to an althub. If the master if offline for a while and then comes back on all the bots will download the userfile from the master thereby nixing any changes in flags or whatever made to the userfile on the althub while the master was offline.

If this just something i need to learn to live with or is there a solution to this issue.

I guess "set allow-resync 1" theoratically fixes this problem, but i have been warned by many not to enabled this setting.

FYI I currently have 20 bots, 4 bots connect to a hub, each hub connects to the master. Each hub has another hub as althub, and each leaf has several hubs as althubs. Whenever any bots goes offline the whole net restructures nicely, its just when the master goes down for a while it sucks..
