Help can not dcc chat bot. i get an SSL_accept failed

i am trying to dcc chat with my eggdrop v1.6.17+SSL using BitchX on my Openbsd box and i get the following error

∙φ∙ SSL_accept failed.
∙φ∙ error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol
∙φ∙ SSL_read() failed, SSL error 1
∙φ∙ error:140760FC:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_CLIENT_HELLO:unknown protocol
∙φ∙ DCC lost CHAT to dayton [Undefined error: 0]


does anybody have a clue why i get this error?

i am able to dcc chat another BitchX session on my box but when i try to dcc chat the bot i get this
