setting wz_fcastlines to 0 (zero) will not disable use of wzf, it will only show the "Forecast" and any "Now" lines
if you want to disable use of wzf change the bind, or comment it out |

If you have problems with v4 from archive, use download from here before reporting problems.

This version did not work for me. Here is the output I receive when I run it:
weather4.tcl 03301
./weather4.tcl: line 68: setudef: command not found
./weather4.tcl: line 181: proc: command not found
./weather4.tcl: line 184: syntax error near unexpected token `}'
./weather4.tcl: line 184: ` }'
[masinick@mepis1:~]$
Am I using it incorrectly or is there a bug in this particular version? _________________ Brian Masinick |

Sorry, I did not realize that this was not a stand alone script. I had one earlier that I thought came from this same place, but it broke a few weeks ago when wunderground changed their format.
Could you guide me a bit or point me to documents that will advise me on what steps are needed? Once I have that information, I should be self sufficient from that point. I appreciate your indulgence, thanks! _________________ Brian Masinick |

The stand alone script you used was most likely rosc2112's cli script.
I would advise posting something in rosc's topic about the issue (yes, that means you probably have to use the forum's search function to locate it).
egghelp.org's main website is a great source of information on running an eggdrop. |

Thanks! You are right, it WAS the weather_cli.tcl script. I will ask him if he has an update. Appreciate the tip and the pointer! _________________ Brian Masinick |

So when will the LASTEST v41 be fixed since its wind parsing is even more screwed up than the previous version.

My wind parsing works as it should, you should check my bot. |

Its not so much all the wind parsing but the wdir that is pulling an additional 'from the' along with a combine output when the setting is for imperial or metric. I don't know what your bot does but all of mine that was running the script outputed the same way.
Anyway, good luck with it.
