hi guyz!
after studying log files, websites, helpfiles, forums for days now i cannto get any answer to get some further with my eggdrop and bpftp server.

for better understanding here some facts:
win98, win eggdrop 1.6.1, g6 stats 4.51, bpftpserver 2.15, dynamicip.yi.org

so my problem is the following! i installed all the stuff and configured it. have seen no conflicts or bugs or errors at all! after long time handmaid editing stuff i got the eggdrop bot running on efnet. but when i try to connect to it from mirc with dcc chat nuffinhappens! tryed everything but the console from eggdrop tells me that the transfer was cancelled (no access). so where is the problem or how can i connect to the bot then. when using telnet it works perfect but then comes up the next problem.

using telnet and setting up the bot works but it seems that it only works in telnet, not on the channel! the bot does not do anything in irc. also tried to connect the g6 stats to the bot. bpftp and g6stats work fine! all the files needed were created when making new directory for announcing. but eggdrop does not do anything then. why? where could be the problem and how can someone manage to debug the stuff at all to find a way around it!

could disabling nameserver be the problem? if i use nameserver bot doesn't work! the problem is that the bpftp server tells me i have 3 different ips sometimes 4 and only the first of it really works. but not for the bot! trying it with winipcfg and taking then 1st dns server doesn't work either!

can anyone help or is some example of 100% installing the bot out there with all needed files so you do not have to get them from different places even the wrong files though?

would be nice for some experts help!
btw i'm just trying to do a gui for configuring the whole thing! its nerv-wrecking to do it all by hand and if you change server structure you could do it from first step on again! so if anyone could help me with tips to this (only eggdrop and g6 stats tipps) would be nice! i will do the code job for windows!
