Join flood protection depends on the eggdrop's built-in flood-join, I think if you increase the wait-split in your .conf file then these joins will not be considered as joins but as returns (in the wait-split period), not sure though.

I expected such a comment Wink I'll change it back in the next version along with some other new features.

Ok, I've submitted version 4.2 to the tcl archive so it should be there by tomorrow but it's already on my site to be downloaded. This version has private flood protections as well, and I added the ability to relay to the channel when warning a nick (configurable) + returned the old drone:kick proc.

IF someone akicks the bot, the bot will remove the akick!
I think this is important, since without this all protections are really useless against someone with enough level to akick... Smile

What kind of servers would allow an akicked user to be able to remove his own akick.

ptnet for example! A person can get akick always...and can only remove it if it has enough level. since my bot has it, I think this owuld be a good implement.

What Exactly IS an akick though? Is it where someone can kick from outside a channel or is it like a ban, what? I personally have never heard of this feature.

you do /chanserv akick add nick for example.
And nick is automatically kicked out of the channel... only one with enough level can unackick him... or himself, if he has the the level to do it.
It's not ban, it's really an automatic kick.
If this is placed on a bot, no chance!
There I ask for the akick remover. Smile
/chanserv akick del (botnick)

Smile
