Try
| Code: | .ap:reset <*/chan>
(This will reset the AP settings of chan or all chans if * to the default settings) |

Hi
I use this script at severaL CHANNELS at my server, and other.
ist quiet good, but i miss the alternative to execute the commands like .kick .ban. ap:add bwords global/chan etc with the msg command like:
/msg Bot .kick nick reason
or
/msg Bot .ap:add bwords Channel word
with this commands i can write a addon for MIRC zu setup and use the bot via Mouse
Is there something out fpor this???

A small addon can be done to do that, I'll drop one when I have time.
As for .kick and .ban commands, these aren't supported by AllProtection... you'll have to use some commands script which are a lot in the scripts archive.

Which version is that? is it 4.5 or 4.6b7? My guess is you're using 4.6b7, make sure it's the one with the most recent release date (download it again from here and check the date).

i know this feature.. but i'm always set the bot by my own, not using the default setting.. if we use it [.ap:reset] it's mean we must setting again.. and this is spent to much time as i'm put the bot on many channel with different setting. i think you must put the feature .ap:enable sir, and it will store all the setting before.. |

Then your settings are not considered valid settings by AllProtection, that's why they're being reset. For example, if you have ap:drones set to just "-" then the bot will reset it on restart because it's supposed to be in the form: "-/+ ban-time pmeth ban-type"

AllProtection does not save previous settings, and I don't think that I will implement such a feature. We'll see.

| so far i'm very satisfied using this scripts.. but the problem comes when my bot getting lag.. he banned user cause flood detect.. could you make disabling mass flood prot when lagged [text flood line and chars].. maybe something like lag meter.. so when lag meter show the lag its over from setting.. the bot will disabling flood prot automatically.. |

I now get this error when i do an .ap:reset *
Tcl error [::AllProtection::cmd reset]: illegal channel option: ap:level
illegal channel option: 75
I upgraded from beta 6 and then did an .ap:reset * but it no longer works, any one have an idea to what couldt be wrong ?
