Patch done, but an error occurs, and i cant continue configuring

My bot cannot connect to server
the ssl port is 7001 i add server to the .config file as server.network.net:7001

eggdrop doesn't support SSL connections out-of-the-box you need to patch it first, using the popular eggdrop+ssl patch

well, in such case there's something wrong either with your patch, your config, or with that server try irc.demond.net:8181, it's guaranteed working SSL

then the problem is with your SSL-enabled bot/patch, it simply doesn't work; or maybe you misconfigured it, there should be some way in the config of specifying/distinguishing between SSL and normal server:port check if it works on normal (not SSL) ports
