What's the .fwd command used for, how does it work?

I tried setting a forward to bot1 from bot2 like this: .fwd Nik Nik@bot1
However, no notes was being forwared from bot1 to bot2. The help for fwd says that the bot needs to be online, which it is, so I don't really understand why it isn't working.
Is there some other setting you have to do, like in the config or something?

Any help appreciated! Confused
